  14. You are now on the Yahoo Groups main page. At the Left border is a list of all the groups you belong to. If you only belong to one click on it's name. Otherwise look to the right just above the Blue Banner and find the words My Groups and click on them.

    example

  18. If you went to an individual group in step 16 find the words on the right in the banner with the group name that say Edit my Membership and click them.
  19. Under Email address on the next page click on the Drop box button and choose your new address.
    example
  20. Click on the Save Changes button and you are done.
  21. Now let's choose how your group mail arrives. On the MY GROUPS page click on a group you belong to. Then click on the words Edit Membership Go down the page until you see the following.
    example
  22. Most groups want you to be an active participant and prefer you choose Individal Email. One note here...if you in a group that sends stationery or graphics of any kind this is the only choice that will allow you to receive that content. YAHOO no longer allows images to archived on group sites nor do they include them if you choose to read your group mail on the Web Only. The embedded or attached images are forwarded as part of Individual emails only.
  23. Last but not least is the choice of Message Preference. YAHOO recently added what they call enhanced email or Fully Featured. This is now the default setting when you sign up. But again, if your group is including graphics of any kind you will want to choose the Traditional preference. In the Fully Featured choice YAHOO has a Vertical Banner ad that usually shows up right down the middle of the embedded or attached graphic. And the Banner ad doesn't move down or away as you scroll through the message. The only way to prevent this is by choosing Traditional. In this preference the banner ad is still there but is horizontal and does not block embedded or attached images from displaying. example
  24. Once you have made your choices on this page click on the Blue Save Changes button and you are done. Well at least until YAHOO thinks of something else to complicate group mail. :)
